The series opens with the film "Romería," by Carla Simón

The film follows Marina, a young woman who grew up in a foster family and travels to Vigo to meet her biological father's family for the first time. Guided by her mother's diary, family stories, and memories that don't always align, she tries to reconstruct her parents' past and understand a part of her own identity that was previously unknown to her.
