Rtanj — Night Ascent

A mysterious pyramid-shaped mountain in southeastern Serbia. A place steeped in dozens of legends and mystical stories ✨ that each year draws thousands of visitors to its base.

August 15–16 we’re going there again to:

• wake up at night, get ready and head to the summit by the light of headlamps.
• On the summit we’ll be greeted by a sunrise 🌄 — magical, mesmerizing, absolutely breathtaking. We’ll watch how the first light of the rising sun touches the mountain slopes and lights up everything around.
• Then we’ll return to camp, get some sleep, have breakfast, explore a local cave, relax at the campsite, and head home.

🌠 It’s also the peak of the Perseids:

During this period the starriest sky of the year appears. You’ve never seen so many stars overhead ✨. We’ll lie on the ground, listen to the crackling of the fire and ‘catch’ falling stars.

These will be unforgettable experiences and the real ADVENTURE of the year! 💫

• 📍 Accommodation: camping in tents at the foot of the mountain
• 💶 Price: €180 (transfer, guide, Saturday dinner, late-night snack and a snack on the mountain, breakfast)
