Hi! I’m Tanya, an English teacher and organizer of warm and welcoming conversation clubs. This Saturday, we’re meeting at the Love and Zhabats store to discuss marketing.

How does marketing affect us? What makes advertising effective? How can we avoid marketing traps? How does advertising capitalize on our fears and insecurities?

What to Expect

• A short set of topic-related words to help you get into a conversational mindset and build a vocabulary foundation.
• Carefully prepared discussion prompts, with a touch of stand-up comedy.
• No stress from speaking in a large group—the main discussions take place in pairs or groups of three.
• A sudden realization that speaking English for an hour and a half is not difficult at all—and can even be enjoyable.
