Ruslan Mukhtarov's Stand-Up Comedy Course (Online)
Description
RUSLAN MUKHTAROV'S STAND-UP COURSE (ONLINE)
Do you ever feel like your days all start to blend together? Work, home, the same old routines, the same old conversations. Everything seems fine, but you want something new—something that will shake things up and add some color to your life.
What if you tried stand-up comedy?
Learn to see the humor in everyday life, turn your stories into jokes, and maybe one day take them on stage.
A new online stand-up course by Ruslan Mukhtarov starts on November 11!
It’s a full-fledged, collaborative immersion in comedy. It’s almost like a summer camp for adults. Only instead of songs around the campfire—there are hot pants, and instead of morning exercises—there are comedy-thinking exercises.
Who is this course for?
- Those who dream of taking the stage and being heard.
- Those who want to try stand-up and not go it alone.
- Those looking for a new hobby and wanting to reveal a surprising side of themselves.
- Those who want to hone their sense of humor for their blog, videos, social media, or career.
- Those who love to joke but don’t yet understand how comedy works.
- Those who want to overcome their fear of public speaking.
Who teaches the course?
Ruslan Mukhtarov—stand-up comedian, author, and screenwriter. Winner of the shows “Make the Comedian Laugh” on 1+1 and “Russians Don’t Laugh” on STS; participant in “Open Mic” on TNT and the KVN Premier League on Channel One; participant in the show “Stand-Up Stream” on the Smetana TV YouTube channel.
Ruslan has more than 50 television appearances and 28 years of stage experience under his belt.
His students are already making a name for themselves in comedy: some have appeared and continue to appear on the show “Women’s Stand-Up” on TNT, while others have become residents of “Stand Up” on TNT.
Ruslan works directly with the group, without any instructors. His goal is not just to teach theory, but to help each student find their own voice, see the humor in their own lives, and learn to turn personal stories into comedy material.
What’s included in the course?
- 8 group sessions, 2 hours each: theory and practice.
- Homework assignments on writing your own material.
- Learning comedy techniques and methods for crafting jokes.
- A final run-through and personalized feedback from Ruslan.
