About the exhibition

From August 27 to September 19, the gallery U10 will host an exhibition by Elena Paich and Katya Yanova, “191” Instagram post.

The starting point of the exhibition is 1991 — the birth year of both artists and a historical threshold that shaped the contexts in which their generation developed. The exhibition brings into dialogue two artists working in different geographic and social contexts and explores how the legacy of historical events can simultaneously persist in individual experience and come into conflict with it. What is remembered and preserved is considered here alongside what remains unspoken: gaps, tensions, and unexpected resonances.
