WHICH WAY HOME — Your Own Way

On September 12, KC Grad becomes a space for fashion, music, performance and experimentation. As part of the event, 10 designers will present their work and their own approaches to upcycling, redesign and reimagining existing garments — exploring fashion as a way to express identity, individuality, belonging and our relationship with the world around us.

• Milica designs and handcrafts unique corsets using vintage polo shirts and second-hand clothing. Through her distinctive creative expression, she gives existing materials a new stylistic dimension — and, at the same time, a new life.

• Ivana is a visual artist, author and founder of the independent studio Rukotvorka, focused on upcycling, textiles and contemporary, self-sustaining artistic and craft practices. Through an autonomous approach that combines hand embroidery, drawing and recycled materials, she explores themes of identity, memory, women’s experiences, and the relationship between the body, space and social taboos. Her work has been exhibited in group exhibitions at Belgrade gallery spaces including Green Door, N.E.O.N., Singidunum and Galerija Blok.
