"Scena za toleranciju" – final conference dedicated to preventing violence

As part of the project "Scena za toleranciju – forum teatar u prevenciji nasilja", implemented by the association "Umreži se", a final conference will be held at Američkom kutku, dedicated to conflict resolution and violence prevention in preschools and primary schools.

Aim of the conference

The conference is intended for staff in preschools and primary schools, with the aim of highlighting the importance of timely recognition and constructive resolution of conflicts in educational settings, as well as the role of staff in creating a safe, encouraging environment that nurtures tolerance, mutual respect, and nonviolent communication.

We teach children that conflict isn’t a reason for violence, but a chance for dialogue, mutual understanding, and cooperation.

By developing skills in nonviolent communication, empathy, and respect for diversity, children get the chance to view conflicts from different perspectives and, with adult support, find solutions acceptable to everyone.

Project support

The project is supported by the Office of the Minister without portfolio responsible for coordinating activities in the areas of gender equality, prevention of violence against women, and the economic and political empowerment of women.
