Balkan Film Directing Festival

From June 10 to 14, the First edition of the Balkan Film Directing Festival (BFFR) will take place in Belgrade.🎥

The festival consists of three programs:

• "Awakening the Balkans"
• "Secrets of Cinema"
• "Return to Genre"

Each program will present a competitive selection of eight films. The competition features works by directors of different generations - from debut works of newcomers to films by experienced authors who continue to explore the boundaries of cinema and the language of expression.

The festival will take place at three venues: MTS dvorana, Dom omladine, and Bioskop Zvezda.

The festival will conclude with an awards ceremony.🏆 In addition to the main award, the jury will also present a Special Award for Outstanding Achievements in the following areas:

• acting
• screenplay
• editing
• cinematography
• music
• set design
• costume design
• sound editing
