Description

What to Teach Your Dog: The Most Essential Skills

Auditoriya, in collaboration with dog trainer Tatyana Vereshchagina, is hosting a series of meetings about dogs, their behavior, and living with humans. We’ll gather over tea, listen to short lectures by the dog trainer, discuss pressing issues, and share our experiences.

At the next meeting, we’ll explore which skills are vital for a dog and which ones aren’t necessary to teach at all. In this mini-lecture, we’ll learn why we train dogs in the first place and how to teach them the most important commands so they work flawlessly. We’ll also discuss the mistakes owners most commonly make and why even a familiar command sometimes stops working.

The session will be led by: Tatiana Vereshchagina—a professional dog trainer and canine behavior specialist. Tatiana completed a course in zoopsychology at the School of Applied Ethology and earned her degree in dog training from the University of Modern Dog Training. She has also completed a series of courses and webinars on zoopsychology, as well as fears and anxiety in dogs. Tatiana works with puppies and adult dogs of all breeds, using modern, humane methods.

After a short lecture, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss your own situations, ask questions, share your concerns, and work with the dog trainer to find solutions.

Date and Time: November 5, 2026 (Thursday) at 7:00 p.m.
