Eleventh American Independent Film Festival

The eleventh American Independent Film Festival, organized by the Belgrade Youth Center, will be held on December 4 and 5, 2025, continuing the tradition of presenting artistically daring achievements from the contemporary American independent film scene. During two festival days, the Belgrade audience will have the opportunity to get acquainted with current trends in indie production in the USA, through carefully selected films that bring a fresh authorial expression.

Thirty-year-old Sam, an unemployed legal assistant, receives a call from a psychiatrist to try to heal his fears through a job as a babysitter for his three grandchildren. Entering a wealthy Jewish home in Manhattan also means meeting his daughter-in-law, an actress and former star who no longer works in film, nor with her children. In this intimate drama about the encounter of people who cannot cope with their problems, the life role was played by Amanda Pitt.
