Overview

HEMA WashFechten 2027 will be a historical fencing event featuring a series of tournaments alongside a separate sparring area. The disciplines will be longsword AB open, longsword AB women's, and a longsword RoW open tournament. An additional sparring option will be available on the second day starting in the morning. The overall tournament format will follow last year's structure, with improvements informed by feedback and international practice. The event aims to let many people enjoy great fencing in a single day while helping participants gain judging experience and enabling international fencers to connect.
