Identities Beyond Borders 🎨🖼
"Identities Beyond Borders" is an international project dedicated to rethinking identity in the contemporary world, immersed in ecological crises, migration processes, geopolitical instability, and cultural divides. The project is conceived as a traveling exhibition and has already been presented in Berlin, Vilnius, and Valletta. Over time, the project has exceeded its initial scope due to the sharpness of the issues it addresses and the significant interest it has aroused internationally. DOTS Gallery will serve as the first venue for the expanded version of the project, where three female artists will present their site-specific installations. In dialogue with Belgrade, a city whose history is intertwined with transformations and border shifts, the exhibition will open up a space for reflections on the interplay between the past and present, as well as on the ways of shaping individual and collective identities.
