From the Appalachians to the Balkans: a concert and party celebrating the bookstore's birthday!

On July 4, at the bookstore «Лав и Жабац», there will be an evening of music and songs by the duo:

• Александр Дмитриенко (Balkanist, translator, teacher and musician) — guitar, mandolin
• Petar Blagojević (bassist of the bands Dram and ReciCimet) — double bass

The program features folk, Americana, bluegrass and Bosnian sevdah. Music rooted in folk traditions — songs of roads, rivers and small towns.

Only live sound, string instruments and stories that sound equally natural on both sides of the Atlantic.

Also, this will not be just a concert, but also a birthday celebration for the bookstore «Лав и Жабац» — but we will write more about that soon!
