Young actors from across Yugoslavia gather in 1986 at the Cultural Center in Feketić. Their intention is to, across two temporal planes, stage and re-examine Shakespeare's key play about relations between men and women, Taming of the Shrew.

In the postwar year 1946, marked by the adoption of the law on women's equality, men still try to "tame" women. Forty years later, in 1986, the young actors confront the legacy of that era, but also try to imagine the world awaiting them in 2026. As they examine relations between men and women through Shakespeare, the question of the fate of the country they live in — Yugoslavia — increasingly opens up, its future already beginning to look uncertain.

Will they succeed in overcoming their own conflicts, fulfilling a shared dream and performing the play at the first Shakespeare Festival in Palić?
