Masterclass: 'Designer Brooch' by artist and designer Ekaterina Bicheykina
This Saturday, October 10, we'll hold a masterclass on creating brooches — we'll make padded patch brooches. A patch is a small piece of fabric with a painted image and finished edges. They can be glued or sewn on, or fastened with a pin to clothing, jeans, jackets, bags and backpacks.
Painting is done with fabric paints. The brooch can be washed on a gentle cycle.
