A Coffee with Princess Ljubica
Description
The monodrama "A Coffee with Princess Ljubica" will once again take the audience on a journey through time, to 19th-century Belgrade, and bring them closer to the life and story of one of the most significant women in Serbian history.
About the monodrama
- "A Coffee with Princess Ljubica" is a dramatic program of the Museum of the City of Belgrade, through which we present the Konak of Princess Ljubica, a romanticized biography of the princess and life in Belgrade during the rule of the Obrenović dynasty.
- This monodrama is the first museum theatre in our region, created in 2009.
- It resulted from years of research, and its conceptual creator — from the initial idea, text and costumes all the way to realization — was museum advisor at the Museum of the City of Belgrade, Nataša Popovska (1973–2022).
- The role of Princess Ljubica Obrenović is performed by actress Vjera Mujović.
