„Pluća“ British author Duncan Macmillan are not just a drama about two people. It is a drama about all of us. About a generation suffocating in conflicting information, in insecurity, in an attempt to be ‘good’ while the world around it becomes increasingly complicated. On the Small Stage of the Madlenianum, directed by Ivan Vuković, this duodrama is performed without scenography, without costumes, but with full lungs – because what happens between the two actors, Suzana Lukić and Goran Jevtić, is life itself.

In ninety minutes, a whole relationship unfolds before the audience – from the first discussion about parenthood, through pregnancy, loss, infidelity, reconciliation, to old age. Without a break, without pause, just as we breathe. Their lines are witty, painful, lucid, recognizable. Their struggle is our struggle. Their questions are those we ask ourselves.
