Movement and Spasm - Vladimir Janić

The exhibition "Movement and Spasm" by Vladimir Janić at Kula Gallery from November 5 to 22, 2026.

Opening

November 5 at 7 PM | 15 Cetinjska Street, Belgrade

Exhibition Description

The exhibition brings together photographic, painting, and video works in which the author explores the themes of uncertainty, vulnerability, and violence. The works question the boundary between the threatening and the vulnerable subject, as well as between the injured and the performative body, while also raising questions about the origin of movement and the forces that cause it, their impact on the body or structure, and the consequences they leave behind. Movement thus emerges as a multi-layered space where the relationships between control, resistance, and vulnerability are constantly shifting.
