RESIDUE OF CONTACTS

We are used to perceiving the body as an instrument of consciousness, forgetting that the body is who we are. It comes into contact with other people, spaces and the surrounding world even before we manage to put that experience into words.

What happens if we trust bodily reactions and intuition?

Residue of Contacts explores contact as a form of language — through the body, gesture, movement, rhythm, presence, material and space. The exhibition brings together artists working across different media, inviting us to consider artistic method as a language that exists not only within art but also in everyday life.

What remains after an encounter? How does contact change us and the space around us? And what if our artistic expression can be understood not through words, but through what happens between us?
