Stand-up course by Руслан Мухтаров (online)

STAND-UP COURSE BY РУСЛАН МУХТАРОВ (ONLINE)

Sometimes days start to look the same? Work, home, familiar chores, the same conversations. Everything seems fine, but you want something new. Something that will shake things up and add color to life.

What if you try stand-up?

Learn to spot the funny in everyday life, turn your stories into jokes and, perhaps, one day take them to the stage.

A new online stand-up course by Руслан Мухтаров starts on 11 November!

This is a full joint immersion into comedy. Almost like a pioneer camp for adults. Only instead of campfire songs — fiery punchlines; instead of morning exercise — exercises for comedic thinking.

Who is this course for?

• Those who dream of going on stage and being heard.
• Those who want to try stand-up and go through this path not alone.
• Those looking for a new hobby and wanting to reveal themselves from an unexpected side.
• Those who want to sharpen their sense of humor for a blog, video, social media or their profession.
• Those who like to joke but don’t yet understand how comedy is structured.
• Those who want to overcome the fear of public speaking.

Who teaches the course?

Руслан Мухтаров — stand-up comic, author and screenwriter. Winner of the shows «Рассмеши комика» on 1+1 and «Русские не смеются» on СТС, participant of «Открытого микрофона» on ТНТ and Высшей лиги КВН on Первый канал, participant of the show «Стрим стендап» on the YouTube channel Smetana TV.

Руслан has more than 50 television appearances and 28 years of stage experience.

His students are already successfully building careers in comedy: some acted and continue to act in the show «Женский стендап» on ТНТ, others became residents of Stand Up на ТНТ.

Руслан works personally with the group, without curators. His goal is not only to give theory, but to help each person find their own voice, see the funny in their life and learn to turn personal stories into comedic material.

What's included in the course?

• 8 group sessions of 2 hours: theory and practice.
• Homework assignments to write your own material.
• Study of comedic techniques and joke-writing methods.
• Final run-through and personal feedback from Руслан.
