KC Grad celebrates its 17th birthday! 🎂🎠🔮

Join us on April 8 for the opening of the exhibition at 7:00 PM to celebrate KC Grad's 17th birthday!

Since its founding in 2009, KC Grad has held an important place as a center of art, but even more importantly as a space of freedom, encounters, new ideas and experiments. As one of the rare examples of continuity and resilience on Serbia's independent cultural scene, it has lasted for seventeen years despite often unstable working conditions in culture, limited resources, shifting cultural policies and the lack of systemic support. In such a context, surviving as an autonomous space is not only an achievement but a kind of feat.

We mark the seventeenth birthday with the exhibition “Time of Wonders” by photographer Marija Cerović Arsenijević. Marija is a master's student of architecture in Belgrade and has been working with photography since she was seventeen, through spontaneous experiments that grow into remarkable personal projects. Her original and unique approach to photography, the ease with which she experiments, and the unburdened attitude she adopts when bravely trying new approaches, shooting angles and focal points immediately draws the viewer into a special world and a new, more exciting dimension of reality.

In recent years Marija has been collaborating with KC Grad, where, through series of photographs, she builds an original visual continuity and captures the atmosphere and authenticity of each event.

You can visit the exhibition every day from 4:00–9:00 PM, until April 22.
