I, Nevenka (movie screening)

• In honor of March 8th, the cultural center Svilara will screen the Spanish film I, Nevenka: a free movie screening will take place on Friday on the eve of the holiday weekend.

The 2024 film tells the story of Nevenka Fernandez, who despite public condemnation and strong resistance, became the first woman in Spain to win a case of sexual harassment against a well-known politician.

I, Nevenka is a biographical drama about dignity, fear, and resistance to the system. Based on real events.

The screening will be in the original language (Spanish) with Serbian subtitles.
