Olympic Sports Festival in Slana Bara

Every June Novi Sad becomes the center of European badminton and the host city for the most promising young athletes from across the continent. Officially, it is the largest and most prestigious tournament under the auspices of Badminton Europe, featuring more than 1,000 participants. Athletes, coaches, and fans from more than 30 countries bring a spirit of unity and top-level sport to the heart of Vojvodina.

On the international stage, the prestigious 'Serbian Youth International Under-17 Tournament in Novi Sad' proudly holds 'Grand Prix' status. At the same time, at the national level this sporting event is regarded as having special importance for the development of youth sport. This prestigious status confirms the exceptional quality of the organization, which year after year sets new standards on the European sporting stage.

Five days of top-class matches and Olympic spirit

Over five tournament days the most talented players aged 9 to 17 compete in all five Olympic disciplines. The Slana Bara Sports Center hosts thrilling matches in men's and women's singles, men's and women's doubles, and mixed doubles. The matches themselves are characterized by high intensity, rapid exchanges, and exceptional tactical preparation from the young athletes, who compete for valuable points in European competitions.
