Olympic Sports Festival at Slana Bara

Every June Novi Sad becomes the center of European badminton and the city hosting the most promising young athletes from across the continent. Officially this is the largest and most prestigious tournament under the auspices of the European Badminton Confederation, featuring more than 1,000 people. Athletes, coaches and fans from more than 30 countries bring a spirit of unity and high-level sport to the heart of Vojvodina.

On the international stage, the prestigious "Serbian Under-17 Junior International Tournament in Novi Sad" proudly holds "Grand Prix" status. At the same time, at the national level this sporting event is recognized as one of special importance for the development of youth sport. This prestigious status confirms the exceptional quality of organization, which year after year sets new standards on the European sporting scene.

Five days of top-class matches and Olympic spirit

Over five tournament days the most talented players aged 9 to 17 compete in all five Olympic disciplines. The Sports Centre "Slana Bara" hosts thrilling matches in singles, men's and women's doubles, and mixed doubles. The matches are characterized by high intensity, rapid exchanges and outstanding tactical preparation from the young athletes, all fighting for valuable points in European competition.
