Description

Karmakoma

Karmakoma Club

17 May | @sitesmezhivotni and @mismozefir at Karmakoma in collaboration with @zelenikacket.

As the band's name suggests, Zefir brings gentle, early-spring breezes that slip into your pores and feel pleasant in a somewhat strange way. This supergroup consists of Vukašin Petrović (Gazorpazorp, ex Cactus fields), Jasmin Rastić (Gazorpazorp), Nikola Bajčetić (Gazorpazorp), Tamara Milošević (Tamara Mylo), Dina Markovska and Aleksandar Hadžić (VHS Stereo).

The band draws influences from many sources, ranging from the psychedelic rock and folk acts of the late '60s and early '70s (The Beach Boys, The Rising Storm, The Zombies, Crosby, Stills & Nash, ...) to various indie-folk and lo-fi rock bands of the late '90s and early 2000s (Neutral Milk Hotel, The Dodos, Animal Collective, MGMT, ...) with a subtle hint of domestic semi-acoustic and acoustic ensembles (Grupa Zajedno, Suncokret, S Vremena Na Vreme, Vlada Divljan, ...).

Lives (noun and adjective) were born in the Balkan spring, ready to sing its praises and at least partly make it public. Against genocide, global apartheid and poisonous, rotten political parties in North Macedonia and everywhere else. We are all animals, with a longing for home. With a desire not to have to leave.

Zeleni kačket is the primary emblem of an unofficial project that began in August 2018. A few years later, Zeleni kačket became a label run by a group of musical, film, literary, visual arts and beer enthusiasts who are eager to exchange gems in the sphere of the aforementioned topics, and beyond.
