June 27 | Batten down the hatches for L.I.E.S. and Cititrax signee, An-i (@an_iofficial), in the company of Edin (@edin__oma) & WC7 (@yugodrom)!

The roster of artists associated with Veronika Vasicka’s Cititrax includes industrial heavyweights Amato, Chris Carter, Marie Davidson, Cosmetics, Tzusing, and our guest An-i. A close collaborator of another Karmakoma guest, Ron Morelli, An-i is Douglas Lee’s solo raw-electronics project, rooted in the New York left-field scene of the ’90s and developed in Berlin, where he resides.

This noise–techno–industrial alloy has hit the dancefloors of Berlin Atonal, Berghain, Dekmantel, Tresor, and Arma 17. In his DJ sets, An-i expands the above list of genres to include EMB and anything Wave, as long as it sounds sandpapery enough — a photocopy of a photocopy, gritty and textured.
