Two years after the album Zapisi Iz Podzemlja, DZIPSII takes a step back, but only to go deeper.

The JOVAN project doesn't open a new chapter; it returns the story to the very beginning, to a time before the name, before the stage, before the first microphone. To a time when he was still just Jovan.

It's a space where sounds and images were absorbed without question: music from the television, dancing in front of the screen, internet aesthetics, hip hop, R&B and pop that weren't yet fully understood, but could be felt.

A boyish image, roles that come naturally — son, student, a quiet observer of a world that is just beginning to find its rhythm. All of that wasn't chosen; it happened.

From those memories, from that instinctive self, DZIPSII and producer Rap Gorilla build a contemporary audiovisual universe.

JOVAN is an urban pop story told as much by the body as by the voice.

Bolder, more mobile and production-wise more precise than anything that came before.

The first signal from that world was the single Proklet, dark and introverted, like a door just opening.

Skloni Se then pulled listeners deeper, reinforcing the album's sound and visual aesthetic.

And then comes Impuls — the third and final single announcing the album. Pure energy packaged into a dance-pop track that pushes the body into motion and makes it clear that this is an album that lives on the dance floor just as much as in emotion.

Unlike the laid-back atmosphere of the debut release, JOVAN is rhythmic, direct and pulsating. JOVAN is the point from which everything started.
