Eleventh Festival of American Independent Film

Which will be held on December 4 and 5, 2025, organized by the Youth Center of Belgrade, continues the tradition of presenting artistically bold works from the contemporary American independent film scene. During the two festival days, the Belgrade audience will have the opportunity to get acquainted with current trends in indie production in the USA, through carefully selected films that bring a fresh authorial expression.

A somewhat trifoovian comedy of errors, follows two women and their complicated love lives. British tourist Bethany (played by electro pop star Čarli Eks Si Eks) unexpectedly brings her fiancé ready to propose to Warsaw, where she will “accidentally” meet her best friend, Polish florist Nel (former guest of our festival Lena Gura). Paradoxically, each of their meetings is accompanied by a volcanic eruption…
