Description
This time we'll head to the stone arches of Vratna Canyon.
Scientists believe that long ago there was a giant stone tunnel here, which left behind a beautiful gorge and several unusual stone arches — they don't look like a natural formation. That's why they're considered one of the wonders of Serbia.
By the way, these stone arches are considered the tallest in Europe.
The nature here is exceptionally picturesque: throughout the year Vratna alternates between a fast mountain river and a small stream, but you can always listen to birdsong and observe the inhabitants of this untouched corner of nature.
The journey is long — more than 3 hours, but believe me, it's worth it.
