A well-known fairy tale and cartoon adapted into a play that speaks about love, fear and truth. Belle, the Beauty who lives alone with her father goes into the enchanted forest to fulfill her father’s vow and to become the Beast’s hostage, because her father, out of love for his daughter, picked a rose he was not supposed to. The play raises the questions: what is more important, appearance or character? Should we judge people based on that? The play sends the message that love conquers all, including differences, prejudices and the curse of the enchanted forest. Love is life.
