Event description

The 'Eating with your eyes' photo exhibition, organized in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Belgrade, the Italian Cultural Institute in Belgrade, and the Novi Sad Committee of the Dante Alighieri Society, will be inaugurated 🗓️ on Monday, January 26th ⏰ at 6:00 PM 📍 at the Student Cultural Center in Novi Sad. The exhibition will be open for visits until February 14, 2026.

📌 The exhibition represents a journey that transforms the view on food and elevates it as a narrative of human beings. The temporal dimensions – past, present, and future – to which the images refer, draw traces, explore possibilities, and raise questions. The authors of the masterful photographs, Luisa Valieri, Mauro Turatti, Francesco Rucci, and Francesco Marinelli, manage to condense the stratification of meanings that food has taken on and build a new language. Food emerges as an emblem of collective memories, territorial practices, aesthetics of desire, and ethical horizons.
