Open rehearsals for children at the Belgrade Philharmonic

Open rehearsals are one of the most notable projects of the institution in the public eye. This form of interactive approach to education is intended for preschool and early school-age children. The main carriers are musicians of the Belgrade Philharmonic, who introduce the little ones to the world of classical music in a way adapted to their age.

Workshops

The workshops consist of three parts:

• Introductory presentation of instruments
• Instrument rehearsal
• Attending a regular orchestra rehearsal, during which children get acquainted with the full symphonic sound in fifteen minutes

The presentation is tailored to the age of the children, so the youngest are approached primarily through play, while a story with more educational elements is prepared for school children.

Maintenance dynamics

The dynamics of holding Open rehearsals is once a month during the regular season.

The program starts at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 10:15 a.m. Applications for groups of up to 30 children are accepted via email [email protected].
