Movement and Spasm - Vladimir Janić

Exhibition “Movement and Spasm” by Vladimir Janić at Galerija Kula, November 5–22, 2026.

Opening

November 5 at 19:00 | Cetinjska 15, Belgrade

About the exhibition

The exhibition brings together photographic, painterly, and video works through which the artist explores uncertainty, vulnerability, and violence. The works probe the line between the threatening and the threatened subject, as well as between the injured and the performative body, while opening questions about the origins of movement and the forces that set it in motion, their impact on the body or on structure, and the traces they leave behind. Movement thus appears as a multi-layered field in which the relationships between control, resistance, and vulnerability are in constant flux.
