Traditional Balkan Jewelry from the 18th Century to the Early 20th Century
Description
Exhibition: 260 Artifacts from the Museum’s Collections
Visitors will be able to view 260 artifacts from the museum’s collections, a significant portion of which were previously part of the private collection of artist and graphic designer Lyuba Ivanovich. The exhibition will feature traditional Balkan jewelry:
- belt buckles (pafta)
- headdresses (tepeluki)
- decorative belts
- earrings
- pendants
An important part of the project will be the integration of historical heritage into contemporary fashion—in a separate hall, the Hota Hota brand will present a modern design interpretation of traditional pafta and tepeluk styles. A series of thematic lectures is scheduled at the museum throughout the exhibition, which runs through February 28. Location: Muzej primenjene umetnosti
