🌾🐓 Workshop "Meet the village" at the BelgrAID festival!

Dorćol Platz

On Saturday, March 21, at 12:30 PM, at Dorćol Platz, as part of the BelgrAID Kids program of the BelgrAID 2026 festival, we take the little ones (4-7 years old) right to the heart of a Serbian village.

Inspired by the book "A Day on the Farm" by author Nevena Jovičić, winner of the "Dositej's Feather" award, this is not just reading, this is a real experience of a rural village.

Children will

• meet domestic animals
• see and touch wool, grains, feathers, and straw
• learn how slingshots and spindles were used in the past
• discover where the food we eat daily comes from

Realistic photos, authentic items, and personal stories of the author turn the book into a true little journey through tradition, nature, and sustainable living.

Entrance is FREE 💚
By donation, you can support the reforestation action and take a book or promotional material.

Because when children understand the village, they understand nature.
And when they understand nature, they protect the planet. 🌍
