William Basinski is one of the leading minimalist composers of the 21st century. Decay, repetition and "ghostly" structure — music of such melancholic intensity that it immediately established Basinski as a classic of ambient. The cult album The Disintegration Loops served as the launchpad for William Basinski's career.

Over the following 25 years he released two dozen landmark albums, performed at the world's biggest festivals and in leading concert halls — from Mutek and Unsound to Le Guess Who? and Sonar — and also presented The Disintegration Loops in an orchestral rendition, confirming his status as one of the key composers of contemporary ambient music.

William Basinski's performance in Belgrade is a rare opportunity to hear his music not alone on a recording, but in the same space with its creator.
