Tymock - profile

Tymock is an experimental music collective from Niš, founded in 2020, which explores the blend of ambient, post-rock and experimental music with a layered sonic dramaturgy. Their approach combines electronic and acoustic instruments with introspective musical textures, creating suggestive and emotionally rich soundscapes.

The band's debut release, the EP This Was Supposed to Get Easier Over Time, quickly attracted attention from critics and audiences, appearing on numerous relevant year-end best-of lists. Two years later, Tymock's second release We Watch Through the Window as Houses Burn further solidified the band's reputation, particularly with singles that spent more than a month on the Super Meni chart on Radio Aparat, while Dilane, You're Drunk was also named single of the week. Additionally, Dilane, You're Drunk was shortlisted for the Milan Mladenović award in 2026.

Through their work to date, Tymock has rapidly managed to create a recognizable artistic identity. Balancing layered ambiances and experimental passages with a post-rock sensibility, they have succeeded in crafting soundscapes that are both critically acclaimed and beloved by listeners.
