Description
Auditorium has launched a new choral therapy project with singer, teacher, and arranger Anastasia Modestova
What Is It?
This isn’t a vocal lesson or a choir audition. You don’t need to hit every note, have a musical ear, or have ever sung before. And if you think you can’t sing at all—this is definitely the place for you! The main goal of choral therapy is to learn to let go of control and have a blast!
Program
- Do simple exercises for breathing, rhythm, and voice
- Experiment with your voice and try singing in multiple parts
- Clap, stomp, move, laugh, and let your voice out in every way possible
- Take songs everyone knows and sing them together
- Discover one simple truth: singing together is way more fun than singing alone
Who It’s For
If you’ve wanted to start singing for a long time but were too shy, if you’re still convinced you “don’t have a voice,” or if you simply love music and want to spend an evening in good company—choir therapy is for you!
