Opening of the exhibition by Марии Горской — When Leaving, Turn Off the Light

Opening of the exhibition by Марии Горской "When Leaving, Turn Off the Light"

Are you familiar with the psychological phenomenon known as a "dream within a dream"?

It feels like you woke up, got out of bed, started your usual day, but then realized you are still asleep… Reality becomes unstable, the space both familiar and at the same time strange, and the boundary between waking life and dreaming gradually disappears.

Project description

The project of Марии Горской, "When Leaving, Turn Off the Light", is an exhibition about the state of false awakening. About the condition when you wake up but again and again find yourself in a dream. About moments when the boundary with reality fades, while fear and panic coexist with the desire to remain in the world of dreams forever.
