Announcement. PÉT-NAT AND MEAT! Novi Sad

Hey everyone, let’s finally hang out in Novi Sad!

On October 11 I invite you to a tasting of wines from Burma at an iconic spot with impossibly delicious meat from Dobri Dim.

What are we drinking?

• 🍾 A rosé pét-nat from Muscat Hamburg
• 🍷 A red pét-nat from Portugieser
• 🍊 An almost orange from Sila
• 🍊 One from Neoplanta
• 🍒 A red from Frankovka
• ✨ We’ll see what else Marko brings especially for us.

There will be lots of wine. The wine will be delicious.

What are we eating?

A genuine Texas BBQ burger with pork that’s been slow-cooked for 11 hours over wood with bold spices. Nobody in Novi Sad makes it like this anymore!

And yes, each participant gets a full, proper burger—not a decorative sliver of meat on a napkin.

What are we listening to?

• 🍷 Marko — a collaborator and, incidentally, the husband of Elena Burmudžija, owner of the Burma winery — will talk about the production nuances of these wines.
• 🍷 I will translate not only from Serbian to Russian, but also from wine-speak to plain language: I’ll talk about the varieties, explain what pét-nat actually is, and what makes these particular bottles interesting.
• 🧐 But we won’t be pedantic! We’ll drink, eat, listen to good music, meet people, and make friends.
• 🍾 Also, Marko will bring wines at winery prices, so after the tasting you can stock up on any bottles you like to take home.
