Chess Club for Children Ages 6 and Up

We invite children who are already familiar with chess and want to play, think strategically, analyze games, and improve their skills.

In our classes, we will

• study chess theory and solve problems
• learn to evaluate positions and find strong moves
• play out various game situations
• analyze games by strong chess players and try to predict their moves
• play against each other and participate in in-house tournaments

Instructor

Classes are led by Pavel Yuryevich Lagashin—a Candidate Master of Chess with an International Master rating, as well as a winner and prize winner of international tournaments. Pavel has been teaching chess since 2009; his students include Candidates for Master, as well as winners and prize winners of Russian children’s championships.
